Data we process

Contact form data

When you fill in and submit the contact form in the "Contact" section, we process:

  • Name (required)
  • Email address (required)
  • Message (required)

Purpose: respond to your enquiry.
Legal basis: pre-contractual measures at your request (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
Retention: for the time required to handle the request and, in case of a working relationship, for the duration of the relationship and tax obligations afterwards (10 years).
Third-party processing: the message is delivered via the Cloudflare and Resend infrastructure (see "Third parties" below).

Browsing and analytics data (with consent)

If you accept via the cookie banner, we process aggregated browsing statistics:

  • Page views, traffic source, time on site
  • Anonymized IP address (Google IP truncation)
  • Browser, OS, viewport

Purpose: understand in aggregate how the site is used.
Legal basis: consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR and Art. 122 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003).
Retention: 14 months (GA4 default).
Tool: Google Analytics 4 with Google Consent Mode v2 in denied default: no data leaves your browser until you explicitly consent.

Technical and security data

The hosting provider (Cloudflare) automatically logs technical information for security and abuse prevention (DDoS, brute force, malicious bots):

  • IP address, user agent, request timestamps

Legal basis: legitimate interest in keeping the site secure (Art. 6.1.f GDPR).
Retention: per Cloudflare policy (typically up to 30 days).

The site relies on the following providers, to whom technical browsing data may be communicated:

Some of these providers may transfer data outside of the European Union. They all participate in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or rely on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission to ensure an adequate level of protection.
